A tutoring program at the St. Andrew Community Center, which aids to hundreds of urban children with scholastic achievement, (The Homework Club) and provides training in life skills vital to their future. Please be generous in your support.
Community Garden Help
Asking for your time and talent to assist in maintaining our community garden area. W
e need volunteers to help with Grass Cutting and Trimming. We also need assistant with filling the water barrels (Training will be provided). Please see the signup sheets posted in the Narthex. Questions can be directed to Noelle Gehlhaart and Mark/Joan Lamson.
Angel Garden Caretakers
Still a few spots open for taking care of weeding, watering, trimming and fertilizing when needed on a regular basis. Please see the signup sheet with the map on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
Blood Pressure Clinics
STOC is working with the Greendale Health Department on senior/health advocacy program. We are going to have 2 blood pressure clinics at STOC:
Each session is from 10-11am
New Parish Directory
Scott Carstens will be taking NEW and updated pictures for our Parish Directory after the 9:00am services on: July 9 and July 16. If you have any questions regarding the Parish Directory, please contact Pam Kasper at firstname.lastname@example.org
STOC Rummage Sale
July 8 – Mark your calendars. We will accept donations through Sunday, July 2nd. Gently used items are welcome. Large items can be brought in, such as couches, furniture items, but for large items, you MUST contact Cheryl Carstens for storage.
All rummage items brought in, shall be placed in the room located across from the nursery downstairs.
Also, volunteers are needed to assist with: setup, clean up, pricing, food booth and table sales. There will be a planning meeting in the Loft immediately following service on June 25th.
