Weekly Lenten Meal and Services

Our weekly Lenten meal followed by Evening Prayer will begin on Feb 12th. Those who participated last year enjoyed the format we fell into, and would like to repeat it again this Lenten Season. We’ll gather for food and fellowship in the Parish Hall at 6PM on Friday evenings, followed by Evening Prayer including a brief Bible Study at 7pm. Last year, it seemed to work well to rotate and spread out the food responsibilities, so we’ve posted a sign up sheet in the Narthex for those who would like to take a turn. Further plans and ideas towards that will be made the first week we gather. Please come and join us in this relaxed and warm form of Lenten Discipline!

Lost and found

We have a blue bin inside the closet clearly labeled “Lost and Found”  Any items found in the church or around the property can be placed into that bin.  An envelope with orange tags is also taped to the bin.  These tags can be filled out to identify the Date found, who found it, and where the item was found.  Also, there is a supply of plastic zip lock bags (in the blue bin), which shall be used to place the article and orange slip into.

STOC Website Update

As part of our goal to keep the church website current, and a source of information for both newcomers and parishioners, we have a new Vestry News page on the website. There, you’ll be able to access the current minutes, the agenda for upcoming meetings, and links to download past reports. If there is anything else you’d like to see on our website, either for potential visitors or for the information of the congregation, please send suggestions to Kathie Hein at katenigma00@gmail.com
