 Hospitality Center

The hospitality Center helps feed, clothe and minister to the needy in Racine.  In the words of Deacon Kevin, St. Thomas’s on-going support makes a transformative difference in the lives of many and in the life of the Hospitality Center.

GIVING TREE—Kids Kloset

It’s that time of year again.  Kids Kloset at St. Luke’s Parish is in need of Diapers (Particularly size 2, 3 & 4), Wipes and Clothing items for babies and toddlers.  There are “NEED” Cards near the left side window of the Narthex.  Please take a card (or MORE) and bring the indicated item in by Sunday, January 3, 2016.  Kids Kloset provides clothing and sanitary items to children of families who are in need.

Please be generous.  Thank you and God Bless,

Soup sale

Next Sunday we will undoubtedly have cold, winter weather and an urge to relax after the holiday season!  How about taking home a container of soup and, possibly, enjoying a Packers game? Soup will be on sale after each service next Sunday, January 3rd.  Be sure to take some home with you!

If you are willing to help prepare the soup, please join me on Saturday, January 2, between 9:00am  – 12:00pm in the church kitchen.

Lost and found

We have a blue bin inside the closet clearly labeled “Lost and Found”  Any items found in the church or around the property can be placed into that bin.  An envelope with orange tags is also taped to the bin.  These tags can be filled out to identify the Date found, who found it, and where the item was found.  Also, there is a supply of plastic zip lock bags (in the blue bin), which shall be used to place the article and orange slip into.  This will help identify how old the items are.  The length of time is not yet determined as to how log we shall hold onto items.  However, old items found, will eventually be donated.
